Many plastic water bottles (and canned foods) contain bisphenyl A (BPA), a chemical that leaches into the water. It is a cause for concern because it is an endocrine disrupter (interrupts hormones, raising risk of cancers and behavioral problems). Here you can find some of the safest bottles on the market, in useful sizes and bright colors for kids. Please note, the Camelbak bottles are all BPA-free, but Camelbak does not recommend them for carbonated or acidic beverages.
