The Energy Cargos were designed with quality, form, and function in mind from the beginning. We started with heavyweight hemp/organic cotton fabric (certified organic by USDA), which provides the durability boys need (hemp is 3x as strong as cotton) as well as wrinkle-resistant refinement (also due to the hemp). The fit is for comfort and style, with generous sizing and length to fit any body type; interior elastic for adjustable waists is provided in all sizes. Pockets have snaps so whatever needs to be carried doesn't fall out; plus pockets lie flat. The pants are garment dyed with low impact dyes in subdued colors. The stylized dragon/gothic lion graphic (water-based screen print) sets these cargos apart from any other, and other details like contrasting zippers complete the look. The lion is specifically placed upside down so it becomes right side up when the boy wearing it looks down – and who exactly is wearing this pant anyway? Kids know. Though snaps are easier, we just couldn't let go of the burnished bamboo button at the waist, virtually unheard of on children's clothing because of the expense, but so appealing on the cargos.
