Camelbak
Camelbak is based in Petaluma, California, but its BPA-free plastic bottles are made in China. Camelbak's specialty is the hands-free drinking system, but they were one of the first to come up with the BPA-free bottles. The better bottles have a unique and useful design that rivals many others.
Water Bottles
Many plastic water bottles (and canned foods) contain bisphenyl A (BPA), a chemical that leaches into the water. It is a cause for concern because it is an endocrine disrupter (interrupts hormones, raising risk of cancers and behavioral problems). Here you can find some of the safest bottles on the market, in useful sizes and bright colors for kids. Please note, the Camelbak bottles are all BPA-free, but Camelbak does not recommend them for carbonated or acidic beverages.
