Peau Ethique's organic cotton is certified organic by Control Union Certification as well as IMO, and sewing is done in Turkey. Dyes are low-impact, and whites are obtained using hydrogen peroxide instead of chlorine. Although Peau Ethique has not been certified fair trade, it is a trainee member in a French fair trade organization, Plate-forme du Commerce Equitable Francais, and it is a company committed to fair labor practices.
