Serendipity
Serendipity manufactures an extensive line of organic children's clothing, from infant to size 12. In their own words, "Serendipity Organics is natural children's clothing made for comfort and easy wear. It is Scandinavian design inspired by children playing and having fun." The company is based in Denmark, and does its manufacturing in India, including the manufacturing of its own fabrics, though silk and wool are produced in China. The products are certified organic by Control Union Certifications, and most of their fabrics are made in accordance with IA 8000, an international standard for fair trade that includes 3rd party inspection. The company uses low impact dyes.

Serendipity's sage green v-neck sweater is a beautiful dress sweater, ideal for early spring, cool summer nights, or fall. There aren't many organic cotton sweaters for kids out there, and nearly nothing for boys. We liked this one quite a lot, and the sage green is good on most. It matches especially well with some of the other Serendipity tops and bottoms, but also exceptional with jeans, khakis, khaki shorts, etc. True to size. 100% organic cotton.
