Sticks & Stones
The Sticks & Stones collection for girls, sizes 2-6, is designed by Sandy Novak and Jen Neumaister, and manufactured in the USA, in Los Angeles, California. Sticks & Stones utilizes contract labor for its sewing, and they have chosen a reputable contractor known for paying workers well and treating them fairly. Sticks & Stones is embarking on their commitment to sustainable fabric, including hemp, recycled jersey, bamboo, and organic cotton, as well as details like coconut and wood buttons in their collections. In speaking with them, we are optimistic that for future seasons they will raise the eco-friendly bar a little higher by seeking certified organic cotton (currently only the threads are certified, not the finishing process), and phasing out the bamboo and conventional cotton present in the bamboo blends.
