Twirls and Twigs
Twirls and Twigs is a line of eco-friendly dresses, skirts, tops, and pants for girls, sizes infant to 8 (GreenEdge Kids carries sizes 2 to 8). Twirls and Twigs manufactures beautiful and unique dresses in the USA from organic cotton, soy, hemp, bamboo, and recycled fabric. Although GreenEdge Kids is very supportive of Twirls and Twigs' sustainability efforts, we would like to see the company reduce its use of plastic and wire hangers and plastic covers currently delivered with every garment. We would also prefer to see a higher level of commitment to certified organic fabrics (in lieu of uncertified or even synthetic fabrics sometimes used).
Pink Heart Pants

These soft winter pink pants are stunning…just beautiful with the coordinating heathered grey lace top, yet comfort and softness made for kids. It doesn't show well in the photo, but please note these pants have a flannel feel, really best for fall or winter. It is unfortunate that they are not made with eco materials - only a small bit of recycled trimmings used for the heart. We did not catch this exception when ordering, and are counting on it being a rare occasion. If you can overlook this lapse in sustainability, they are surely one-of-a-kind pants your girl will love.
