Throughout our site, we advocate buying eco-friendly/sustainable kids’ clothes over conventionally manufactured clothing, but how green is GreenEdge Kids? Currently, GreenEdge Kids’ sustainable business practices include:

• Purchasing preferentially from the most sustainable clothing manufacturers
• Shipping with reused shipping boxes, USA-made 100% post consumer waste envelopes, and reused packing supplies
• Gift wrapping with 40-100% post-consumer waste recycled paper tissue and boxes
• Printing promotional materials, business cards, and hang tags with soy-based inks on hemp or USA-made 100% post-consumer waste recycled paper
• Selecting the most sustainable products for every office supply purchase…even our checks are printed with soy-based inks on recycled paper!
• Purchasing carbon offsets from Native Energy for 100% of GreenEdge Kids’ energy consumption, including shipping (GreenEdge Kids Goes Carbon Neutral)

These measures are just the beginning because we are a small company, but we have much more in the works, and we will continue to add to this section.
